germany’s aesthetically delightful bowling alleys

By

Who knew Germany had stacks of beautiful bowling alleys? Robert Goetzfried – that’s who. The full-time designer snuck off to around 40 bowling alleys (or Kegelbahnen, as they’re known in Deutschland) during his spare time to capture their retro magnificence, and we’re jolly glad he did.

Apparently, they’re becoming rarer and rarer, and traditional bowling alleys are likely to die out (much like they are here in Australia). Treat your eyeballs to some of the snaps from Robert’s collection here.
