Or, to be more specific, a whole lot of the glitter-clad wonder that is David Bowie, and the exhibition about his neverending excellence, David Bowie is. Celebrating his music, film, video and threads, the show has come to Melbourne from the Victoria and Albert Museum in London to make its one-and-only stop Down Under, but the fine folk at Tourism Victoria don’t want their Aussie neighbours to miss out on all the fun. That’s why they’re offering up a pretty spiffy prize pack including return flights from your nearest capital city, two nights stay at the Sofitel on Collins and a pair of premium tickets to take in the whole shebang. Which is pretty darn generous, don’t you think?
You’d be checking in on Friday September 4th and living it up until Sunday September 6th, with the exhibition open to visit at ACMI each day. There’s also the late nights program to have a gander at for extra Bowie beats and jams, plus an array of sweet places to grab a tipple or bite to eat once you’ve soaked up all the Thin White Duke you can.
