Influenced by her Eastern European background and Polish/Russian family whose “eating, loud talking and community” helped to shape her world, Bunnie Reiss’ art explores magic, mysticism, stars and the relationship they share with nature.
Not one to be tied down to one medium, Bunnie has a stellar collection of detailed paintings, murals, mosaics and sculptures that depict the relationship between animals, people and the cosmos, and is now working on illustrations for a children’s book and a monograph showing off her art that she has made over the past ten years.
