check out these cosmic collages by frank moth
While the original 1960s run of Star Trek described space as a place where “no man has gone before”, the surreal collages made by Frank Moth show our galaxy as a pretty sweet hangout spot. These collages come straight from the minds of artist duo Eleftherios S. and Marianna M, who run Frank Moth as an alias to “escape from the ephemeral and hard present”.
Using mixed media, the two artists merge retro pop art imagery with photos of boundless space. The result? Some nostalgic and dreamy-looking postcards of a familiar but distant future. We might not be able to go sightseeing across the cosmos yet, but you can check out more of Frank Moth over here.
