Subscribe between August 26th and October 5th for a chance to win heaps of rad prizes (and some cool freebies).

Dust off your party hats, Melburnians, because the community's most loved independent radio station, Triple R, has kicked off its biggest event of the year. Radiothon 2022, held from August 26th to October 5th, celebrates the station’s subscribers, donors and volunteers, along with Melbourne’s ace music community. Why? Cause they're the ones who've been keeping the station alive since 1976 (with the help of the small team of staff who literally run the show!).

Radiothon is the time where Triple R asks the community to subscribe or donate, so that rad tunes and chats can continue to air for decades to come. Everyone who subscribes between August 26th and October 5th automatically goes in the draw to win a tonne of prizes, including a five-day tour of Tasmania, a swish long lunch at Brae Restaurant, $2000 worth of Crumpler bags, and loads more. Every Radiothon subscriber will also receive a 2022 bumper sticker featuring a funky twist on the RRR logo (which fits this year's Radiothon theme, 'One Station Under a Groove' – an homage to legendary American muso George Clinton and his music collective Parliament-Funkadelic). Just pop over to Triple R's website for all the deets. Oh – and from today until September 4th, the station will be celebrating on-air with some extra-special guests (including ace ex-broadcasters), so make sure you tune in to hear all the fun.
