Imagine if you had a ballpark figure of the number of straws you’ve used once, then chucked out? Judging by the amount of slurpees and pina coladas we’ve consumed in our lives, the number might be pretty darn high.
Scott Jarvie explores this wastefulness with his art piece the Clutch Chair, which is made up of 10,000 disposable straws. Not only does it point out just how easy it is to amass a whole lot of trash, it looks pretty easy on the eyes, as well. Head to Scott’s website to see more of his work.
