paperbark
A game involving a sleepy little wombat and the hot Australian bush.
Smartphone games are a great distraction, but can often be a little frenetic and more about racking up points than putting your mind at ease. Paperbark is the kind of game that does the latter. Players move through the Australian bush as a sleepy wombat, navigating the hot, summer lands and discovering beautiful native flora and fauna in the process. Started as a final student project by Ryan Boulton, Nina Bennett and Terry Burdak, the game is essentially a love letter to our expansive backyard. It's filled with gorgeous watercolour visuals and a glimmering soundtrack to boot, so should you tire of crushing candy on your morning commute, Paperbark's tranquil gameplay might be just what you're after.
Paperbark is now avaailable on the App Store for iOS devices. Find out more here.
