Jaw-dropping art made from a single sheet of paper.

Paper cuts aren’t usually something people want to look at, but don’t be fooled – these are paper cuts of a different variety. Artist Masayo Fukuda expertly transforms an ordinary piece of paper into stunning, complex designs (the giant octopus is almost unbelievable). Masayo has been practising kirie, the Japanese art of paper cutting, for 25 years now and it’s clear by the level of detail that she is a master of the craft.  Meanwhile, we're over here still trying to fold an adequate paper plane.
