Feel like giving your walls a makeover and earning some brownie points while you’re at it? Meet Many Hands – an online gallery bringing together artists, art-happy folk and local charities to raise awareness and some cash and show everyone a good time.
Here’s how it works: a team of illustrators, designers and shutterbugs sell their wares through the handy website, donating 50% of the profits to a chosen cause (that’s the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre for the rest of 2015). There’ll also be exhibitions, seminars and other arty events to keep the funds and good vibes flowing all year round, and to give everyday people a way to do good just by doing something that comes easy to them: enjoying art.
The whole shebang kicked off this week with a launch party in Melbourne, but you can find out more and spend some pennies by visiting the official Many Hands website.
