The Côte d’Ivoire artist not only loves her locks, she regularly contorts them into all manner of shapes – from a bicycle to a light bulb to hands playing guitar. But this isn’t just for aesthetic purposes; Laetitia’s sculpted hair is a way of expressing her identity on her own terms. “My hair is the expression of my thought, which is so strong that it decides to materialise before I even go through with the action,” she says.
