The typography of Paris, c'est magnifique.
If you’ve spent some time in Paris before, you probably would have found yourself distracted by the need to shovel as many pastry goods into your mouth as physically possible, so we don’t blame you if you didn’t notice some of the finer details of the city – like its magnifique typography.
Lucky, then, that graphic designer Louise Fili has captured it in her photographic love letter to the City of Light and its signs and lettering, Graphique De La Rue. Available here, the book sums up all the beautiful fonts you were in too much of a wheat coma to notice.
