When it comes to the parent lottery, this little lass struck it very lucky.

The name Cardboard Dad sounds a wee bit like some sort of paper positive super hero, and if his wardrobe of craftily constructed capes, crowns and armour is anything to go by, he kind of is. A former architect in Russia, Evgeny Kudryavstev has turned his attention from building houses to pretty incredible cardboard creations, intended as playthings for his tiny tot daughter. When it comes to the parent lottery, this little lass struck it very lucky.

We love him for making every childhood (and adulthood) fantasy come true, from riding in a dragon carriage to hand-decorating a cardboard cubby and shooting off into space in a papery rocketship. He's just started an online store selling DIY kits, too, though you might need a translator if your Russian language skills aren't up to scratch.
