A round of applause for the artist’s adorable creations, please.

Can you imagine waking up feeling so inspired, you turn your breakfast into a mini piece of art? Us neither. Hence why Japanese artist and designer Manami Sasaki deserves a round of applause. In the last few weeks, she’s raked teensy lines onto her cream-cheese toast to create a ‘zen rock garden’; dabbed gold leaf onto bread to mimic the Japanese art of kintsugi; and drawn cherry blossom trees using just jam – and that’s only the half of it! If you’d like to take your sangas to the next level, keep updated with Manami’s artful arrangements over here.
