watermelon ice blocks

Voila! A delicious treat we'll be shoving in our gob while we sweat out the hot summer days ahead.

If it looks like watermelon, smells like watermelon, and tastes like watermelon, it can only be one thing, right? Well, kind of. It is that juicy, summery, pip-filled fruit, but spruced up and in the form of an icypole – or in other words, a delicious treat we'll be shoving in our gob while we sweat out the hot summer days ahead.

To make the green 'rind', this recipe suggests a scoop of lime sorbet on top, but we're also keen to whip up a batch with some mint ice cream in its place. It might come from a blog called Eat Yourself Skinny, but the way we see it, there's no holding back on the noshing with a snack as tasty as this.
