With a baby-faced lead vocalist and name that brings '50s housewives to mind, you don’t exactly expect Sydney five-piece Tuppaware Party to play '70s surfer-rock songs about growing up a little damaged. But that’s exactly what they do (and do well), especially in their track "We Are The Ones" – a twangy, guitar-laden tune that paints a portrait of what can happen when you have "Babies playing grown up / And adults playing young". The video splices together dreamy shots of the band roaming across natural landscapes with contrasting scenes of adolescent aggression. It’s a clever, wistful summary of the turbulent feelings that can hit at many points in life. See it for yourself below:
