the old shops of hong kong

By Staff Writer
26 January 2018

Take a wander through the rather extraordinary retail spaces of Hong Kong, from pigeon shops to mahjong parlours.

If you’re one of those people who love having a good old-fashioned stickybeak in interesting spaces, then the work of Romain Jacquet-Lagreze might just be up your alley. The French photographer has been shooting retail spaces in his adopted home of Hong Kong for some time now, and has collected some of these snaps in a series entitled The Old Shops. Scroll down to have a gander, then pop past his website to see more.
