How many gross things can a dog chew on? Artist Kate Pullen’s pup has worked its way through at least 26 peculiar items.
From chocolate to tampons – Vinnie the staffy’s jaws know no boundaries. The undiscerning eater belongs to Melbourne letterer and illustrator Kate Pullen, and served as the prime inspiration for her debut exhibition, The A to Z of Things I’ve Pulled Out of My Dog’s Mouth. As the title suggests, Kate has drawn up the many gnarly things she’s pried from Vinnie’s steel-like jaws, turning the gross into the aesthetically pleasing. Melburnians can see the exhibition between November 17th to December 1st. Pooches are of course welcome to come along.
