stingray sisters

Settle in with a glass of something yummy, then hit play on this fascinating doco series.

stingray sisters 1

Way back in issue 62, we had a chinwag with the ladies behind Yarn – a local film production company who specialise in making short, honest stories, which just so happen to be the kind of stories we love.

If you too are a fan of excellent storytelling (perhaps you’re even browsing for something to watch right now), you may like to take a squiz at Yarn’s latest work: a documentary about a trio of sisters from Arnhem Land who are fighting to protect their language, culture and country. Called Stingray Sisters, the three-part series offers a rare peek into their captivating community, and is available to stream over here for the teeny-tiny price of five bucks. Enjoy.
