If we ever stumble across any of these cinemas on our travels, we may well skip the Bollywood film and just admire the view from outside instead. The architectural gems were captured by photographers Haubtitz and Zoche on a couple of jaunts to southern India, focusing the lens on movie theatres built between the ’30s and ’70s with the kind of bright, over-the-top façade not unlike something you’d find in Wes Anderson flick.
