sara landeta’s bird paintings

We’ve never thought of doing anything with old packets of Panadol other than chucking them in the bin.

Honestly, we’ve never thought of doing anything with old packets of Panadol other than chucking them in the bin, but Madrid artist Sara Landeta has shown us that anything, even medicine boxes, can make the perfect canvas.

The talented painter first took her brush to pharmaceutical packaging when her mum’s medication started piling up. Since then, she’s put pretty birds on over 120 old boxes. To see more of Sara’s work, take a peek at her blog (and don't forget to check over your recycling – you might just have some rubbish in there that ought to be art).
