As a wedding photographer she's used to shooting happy couples amidst layers of white fabric, but we're seriously digging these double-layered floral portraits by Portland-based snapper Sara K Byrne. Using a technique of multiple exposure usually reserved for film photography, she layers portraits over flora on her trusty digital camera, with pretty darn lovely results. Go technology!

Sara might be a bit of a magician with the lens, but she's more than happy to share her tricks. If you have a Canon DSLR handy, the generous lady has created an in-depth video tutorial that explains how she creates her images. Turns out there's a bit more to it than a flick of a wand and some abracadabra.

See more of her work over here.
