Just a gentle warning – these pics from Japanese snapper Miki Hasegawa may tug on your heartstrings and cause involuntary aww-ing.

Inspired by her three-year-old daughter's pint-sized view of the world, Miki set about capturing scenes from her perspective – both literally, and figuratively speaking. Not only do we get a glimpse of what it's like to toddle around at a mini 87cm tall, but she also manages to evoke a sense of wonder over everyday things that could only come from fresh, childlike eyes.
