This clever lady has painted a series of paintings… about people viewing paintings.

Art galleries can be terribly exhausting. We get there, pumped to see all those great works of genius, and within a few hours we’re begging for the toilet and ready to cry. Yes, we’re big babies. But that’s what being squished in a barrage of sweaty tourists, clambering for a glimpse of the Mona Lisa will do to you.

When San Fransciso-based painter Michelle Ramin recently visited the Louvre, she literally had to step over people in order to check out her favourite artists’ work. The experience inspired her to paint this series of paintings… about people viewing paintings. They’re gorgeous, as well as being astonishingly clever. Scroll down to take a peek.
