Mary Gaudin is a Kiwi photographer who is now based in France's Montpellier, though her travels have taken her little camera to places far wider and more exotic than Europe and across the Tasman.

What we quite admire about her snaps is that you can instantly tell exactly which country she's clicked her shutter in without any ponce of tourism or gaudiness.

As well as snapping things she finds on her merry way around the world, she's quite a snazzy architecture photographer and also makes what she calls 'life books' - images of people's homes to represent who they are.

To have a flick through her projects as you meander through your Saturday morning, just visit her website.
