You know when you draw a moustache on a friend’s photo and it’s annoying and destructive? This is the opposite of that.

You know when you draw a moustache on a friend’s photo and it’s annoying and destructive? This is the opposite of that. Toronto-based Madeleine Gross thoughtfully applies texture and colour to photographs in a way that brings them to life: a cheeky squiggle here, a playful smudge there. We especially love her addition of painted silhouettes over landscape ocean shots (even though they make our hearts ache for summer). Check out her work or snap up one of her pieces here.
