Louise Saxton uses discarded bits and bobs from around the home to make some pretty special artworks.

For Melbourne artist Louise Saxton, home isn’t just a place to hang your hat; it’s a treasure trove, full of goodies that can be turned into art. Louise specialises in using discarded materials from around her abode to create magnificent artworks, like these ones here. The home, in her view, is a “domestic archive”, and her goal is to connect it with “the public archive of the museum”. Whatever her objective, she’s definitely succeeded in pleasing our eyeballs.
