What to make when a bouquet just won’t cut it.

Not everyone appreciates flowers. Some of us have terrible allergies, you see, and others just feel a bit glum watching cut blooms wilt away. There are other ways to treat us flora-resistant folks, though – like whipping up a delightful bunch of rose-shaped dumplings. Tinged with beetroot and filled with a vegan-friendly mix of mushrooms and tofu, these scrummy parcels are just as romantic as a dozen roses (at least we think so).
