house of pane

This cosy little house in the West Virginian countryside was built entirely from recycled windows, and as strong advocates for a room with a view, we're digging it in a big, big way.

This cosy little house in the West Virginian countryside was built entirely from recycled windows, and as strong advocates for a room with a view, we're digging it in a big, big way.

Photographer Nick Olson and clothes designer Lilah Horwitz collected the windows while wheeling around on a road trip, stopping in at garage sales on their move to their new home from Pennsylvania. We were already struck by their architectural aptitude, but making it even more impressive is the fact that the whole cabin took only $500 to build – not bad when you take into account the priceless scenery. More lovely pics over here.
