Like a grocery-loving Dr. Frankenstein, Florent Tanet dissects, peels and dismembers fruit and veggies, rearranging them in surreal and striking ways.

Like a grocery-loving Dr. Frankenstein, Florent Tanet dissects, peels and dismembers fruit and veggies, rearranging them in surreal and striking ways. A line-up of green produce stands to attention, a chain of conjoined Granny Smiths wind their way across the page and a series of bananas lie exposed from the waist down – it should be grotesque, but instead it's just plain awesome.

It's all about turning the kitchen into a playground for the French photographer, and we sure dig his idea of fun. Browse through more of his sculptural work here.
