What happens when you merge bonsai with dioramas? You get Bonrama (and a whole lot of tiny awesomeness).
Like trains? Like dioramas? Then you may very well love Bonrama, an exhibition of bonsai train dioramas, crafted by Tetsuo Kawakami, president of the Railway Diorama Studio in Kyoto City. Unfortunately, this adorable showcase of works has already been and gone (just recently, in fact, at the Omiya branch of Japanese department store Takashimaya – where Tetsuo himself was running a Bonrama-making workshop!), but you’re free to ogle some of the tiny scenes just here or at the Takashimaya website.
