abigail halpin's illustrations

By Sophie Kalagas
1 April 2016

Abigail Halpin's illustrations are so far up our alley that they’re practically sitting on our back doorstep.

Arty lady Abigail Halpin’s inspirations read like a list of all our favourite things: vintage textiles, all things Slavic, mystery novels, the ocean and long-forgotten ephemera. It comes as no surprise, then, that her illustrations are so far up our alley they’re practically sitting on our back doorstep. Flowers, quaint shops and bookish types feature heavily, plus a cute mix of everyday bits and bobs. There’s also a series of repeating patterns that we wouldn’t mind plastering on our walls, and some delicate embroidery on the back of old postcards. Pop past Abigail’s website for more.
